Baked Garlic Sea Bass Steak With Sundried Tomatoes and Pesto

imageLife’s simple pleasures also apply to food, including fish like sea bass. Fish steaks are quick and easy to prepare. It’s a matter of seasoning the fish, baking it for under an hour and garnishing with your favorite spices and veggies. I love the taste and texture of sea bass.  It is my favorite white fish. If cooked right, it melts in your mouth and leaves you craving for the next bite, and the next. Unless you’re watching your diet, the steak’s skin becomes the ultimate pleasure in your meal. Trust me.

If sea bass is not available at your favorite market, you can also use halibut.,

2 medium sea bass steaks

6 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed

1 tbsp pesto sauce

1 tbsp sundried tomatoes

Salt and pepper to taste

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F. Season sea bass steaks with salt and pepper to taste and place on baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Sprinkle garlic over the steaks. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Remove from heat. Place on a serving platter. Top with pesto and sundried tomatoes. Garnish with fresh vegetables like broccoli.
